- Launch Settings from your Home screen.
- Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap Signature under the Mail section.
- Tap Per Account.
- Tap the end of the existing Signature.
- Tap the delete button to delete the existing text.
- Type your new Signature.
- Tap Mail when you are done typing.
Your new signature will automatically save and appear at the bottom of all outgoing email.

- Open the Settings app on the iPhone or iPad Home screen.
- Scroll down and tap Mail.
- Locate and tap Signature at the bottom of the screen in the Composing section. Each email address that you use with your iPhone appears on the Signature screen. You have one for iCloud, of course, but you may also have one for Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or any other compatible email service. Each account has it own signature section.
- If you have more than on email address set up in Mail app, Tap All Accounts at the top of the screen if you want to use the same email signature for all of the email addresses tied to the Mail app. Tap Per Account to specify a different email signature for each of the accounts.
- Type the desired email signature in the space provided or remove all the text to delete the email signature.
- To apply formatting, press, and long-hold on part of the signature text until a magnifying glass appears. - A menu appears above the selected text. Look for the BIU tab for bold, italic, and underline formatting and tap it. You may have to tap the right-pointing arrow on the menu bar to see the BIU entry.
- Tap one of the selections in the menu bar to apply formatting to the selected text.
- Tap outside the text and repeat the process to format another part of the signature differently.
- Tap the arrow at the top left side of the Signature screen to save the changes and return to the Mail screen.
- Exit the Settings app.
